Bangles
	One of the most beautiful bands ever. It started with a lot of enthusiasm and fun and ended with jealousy and frustration. The reason was that the band had become more and more "Susanna Hoffs and the Bangles". The Bangles had a short reunion tour in autumn 2000. It seems it was a succesful try, for reports say the band worked again. Susanna Hoffs now was integrated again. The public attention at first was below that they had in the 80's. Meanwhile the Bangles have a comeback record out. They have a single you can hear on the radio. People like it, and it's obviously very succesful. But the record is far beyond all the intentions they had when they started their second run. You will hear lots of studio musicians, and it is all built around Susanna Hoffs again. If you believe that "Eternal Flame" was the best Bangles record, you will like the new one too. Probably you'll like Atomic Kitten as well then. I think it's a shame that Vicki Peterson prefers Susanna Hoffs' band to the Continental Drifters, who seem to need her support badly. Keep a warm memory of the 80s Bangles and try to get hold of "All Over The Place" and "Different Light".
