David Slutes is one of two masterminds that made the Sidewinders and the Sand Rubies such great bands. He was the co-author and singer of almost every song they recorded. Meanwhile he had a band called "Zsa Zsas". After the great reunion-CD "Return Of The Living Dead" the Sand Rubies stopped existing and David launched his own band "Maryanne." In 2003 Slutes and Hopkins join together again and tour Europe once again. The name of the band is ... Sand Rubies. |
